Dr. Farideh Amin

Dr. Amin received her DDS from the renowned National University of Iran School of Dentistry.  She then went on to earn her specialization in Advanced Periodontics and Masters in Medical Education from the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry.  She completed additional training in Implantology at the Misch International Implant Institute where she mastered the art and science of implant dentistry.

To keep up-to-date with the latest technology and treatments, Dr. Amin maintains her credentials, licenses, and attends continuing education courses. She also participates in a number of study clubs to discuss comprehensive treatment plans with other dentists and specialists.

Dr. Amin has been in private practice for over 30 years and has been a clinical faculty member at USC School of Dentistry, Department of Advanced Periodontics.

In addition to her already impressive career, Dr. Amin has been a supporter of humanitarian missions to provide dental services.

Dr. Amin has traveled in 2015 to Cambodia with a group of dentists and periodontists from U.S.C. department of periodontics in conjunctions with Smile on U and done some dental treatment for the people in need. Her daughter, Dr. Rana Shahi, accompanied her on this trip.

In December of 2017, she made another effort with Smile on U organization and traveled to northern India to an orphanage located in Haridwar, which was a very unforgettable and rewarding experience. Once more, her daughter accompanied the group.
